Specify Type of Edition:

An open edition means the image may be reproduced any number of times without a specified limit.

A limited edition means the image may be printed only a certain number of times specified by the artist.  This is the occasion where one will usually see a print labeled as "1 of 25".  This can add a certain perception of value if the limited addition of somehow not the same as the open edition.  For example, a limited edition might be signed whereas the open editions are not.  They are also numbered.  1 of 25, 2 of 25, 3 of 25, etc.
